Terms and Conditions

This promotion entitles any DHL Express (Limited) Ireland customers (either cash or account holders), within the Republic of Ireland only, who send a shipment to the USA or Canada using the Time Definite International (air) service, between Monday 5th July and Thursday 31st August 2010 to a USA/Canada Flight voucher!

This voucher entitles you to a return economy flight to one of the following destinations: New York, Boston, Washington, Los Angeles, Toronto and Montreal.

Airport taxes/charges and any applicable supplements are excluded and are payable on confirmation. Airport taxes/charges vary and are dependent on destination, time of travel and airline used.

Promotional Rules

  1. This promotion is managed and administered by Scream Ltd t/a WIN | WIN on behalf of the promoter DHL Express (Limited) Ireland (DHL Hub Unit 3, Elm Road, Dublin Airport Logistics Park, St. Margaret's Road, Dublin).
  2. DHL Express (Limited) Ireland customers (either cash or account holders), within the Republic of Ireland only, who send a shipment to the USA or Canada using the Time Definite International (air) service, between Monday 5th July and Thursday 31st August 2010 will be place in the draw, once all other terms and conditions are met.
  3. In order to be in with a chance of winning a voucher the recipient must provide DHL Express, either by emailing the waybill number to: ie.customernews@dhl.com or by logging onto www.dhlnextdayusa.ie and submitting the waybill number, before midnight Thursday 31st August 2010.
  4. All recipients who meet the Terms and Conditions will be placed in a draw and 100 names will be drawn from the hat.
  5. Voucher is specific to the named recipients’ as announced by DHL Express (Ireland) Limited in September 2010.
  6. The vouchers will be given to the named recipients’ once all Terms and Conditions are met; including ensuring the shipment is paid for in full.
  7. All participants in this promotion are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary authority to send shipments with DHL Express (Ireland) Limited.
  8. The promotion does not apply to shipments sent using DHL FREIGHT, DHL SUPPLY CHAIN, DHL GLOBAL FORWARDING, DHL SAME DAY, DHL EXPRESS4YOU or any other DHL EXPRESS service.
  9. The promotion will run during the above named period only.
  10. There are no cash or other alternatives for the offer.
  11. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other DHL Express offer.
  12. DHL Express reserves the right to withdraw from this promotion or any part of the promotion at any time.
  13. Participation in this offer is hereby deemed to indicate acceptance of DHL's standard Terms and Conditions of Carriage which will apply to the carriage of all shipments of Commodity and will govern in the event of conflict with any terms and conditional on any waybill actually used for the transportation of the shipment.

Flight Voucher Terms and Conditions

  1. Offer open to ROI residents aged 18 and over.
  2. This voucher entitles the recipient to a return economy flight to one of the following destinations: New York, Boston, Washington, Los Angeles, Toronto and Montreal (excluding taxes/charges and supplements) with selected airlines.
  3. Flight departures are from Dublin and Cork.
  4. Under the terms of this offer, WIN | WIN may not offer flights to all the destinations from all the listed departure airports. WIN | WIN may not offer all flights direct from all departure airports to the listed destinations, however WIN | WIN will endeavor to find direct flights where possible. Non-direct flights may incur a supplement and/or a short stopover. The departure airport and routes available will depend on the destination, time of travel and airline used. The airline used will be at the discretion of WIN | WIN. Other departure airports may be available at a supplement. All flights are subject to promotional availability.
  5. Any additional extras, such as flight supplements and transfers must be paid for in full at time of booking. If you would like to pre book your airport parking this must also be paid in full at time of booking.
  6. Airport taxes vary and are dependent on destination, time of travel and airline used.
  7. A second passenger may travel with the voucher holder at the set fare of €395 return (plus airport taxes/charges and any applicable supplements). Further passengers will pay the standard airfare and taxes that apply at the time of booking.
  8. Only one voucher may be used per booking and per household and only one application may be enclosed per envelope.
  9. The voucher holder must give three alternative destinations and three different months of travel on their flight application form. Applications not completed in this way will not be processed.
  10. To cover credit card commissions and other expenses payable by WIN | WIN, all credit card payments are subject to a 2.5% charge. Laser cards are also acceptable for payment these are not subject to a commissions charge.
  11. It is strongly recommended that adequate travel insurance is purchased to cover all passengers on this booking. WIN | WIN will be pleased to assist you with your travel insurance requirements but this is not compulsory. However, WIN | WIN cannot be held responsible should you fail to take out adequate travel insurance. By confirming a booking with WIN | WIN you are agreeing, on behalf of all passengers, to this contract. You will be asked to confirm that you have - read and accept this on your application form; please do so to ensure that WIN | WIN can process your application.
  12. It is the voucher holder’s responsibility to arrange Passport and Visa requirements. If visiting or traveling through the USA you should check, before booking, with the Embassy for current Visa requirements. You must ensure that you have at least 6 months validity after the return date back to the ROI. Persons wishing to travel to the USA who have any criminal records (including driving offences) must declare these at the time of booking.
  13. The application instructions (how to apply) and all other information stated within this document also form part of the terms and conditions of this offer. The usual terms and conditions of special fare IATA tickets apply to any flight booking. A copy of these may be requested from WIN | WIN
  14. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash or used in any other way than that described. Original vouchers only.
  15. No cancellations or amendments by the voucher holder are possible after confirmation of your booking. No refund of any monies paid will be possible.
  16. The promoter, WIN | WIN cannot be held responsible for any alterations or cancellations to flight schedules, routes and destinations and reserve the right to use alternative suppliers. WIN | WIN reserve the right to withdraw this offer without notice in the event of war, terrorism, earthquake, catastrophe or similar event.
  17. A minimum of 45 days advance notice before your requested months of travel is required. The lead name on the booking must be aged at least 18. A maximum length of stay of 90 days applies. Travel may be on any day of the week, and your booking may need to include a Saturday night stay.
  18. There can be no guarantee that WIN | WIN will have your requested choices of destinations and/or dates available at time of booking, nor can we guarantee travel on a specific route or on a specific date.
  19. This voucher can only be used by the person to whom it is issued and cannot be resold or given away.
  20. This voucher may not be used in conjunction with any other voucher or promotion.
  21. Proof of posting is not acceptable as proof of receipt. No responsibility can be accepted for lost or damaged application forms. Please be aware that it is not possible for the promoter or WIN | WIN to replace this voucher if it is lost.
  22. Flight applications must be received by 12/12/2010 and all travel must be completed by 15/04/2011. This offer is not valid for travel during the Christmas, New Year, Easter and Bank Holiday periods. Please note there may be limited flight availability during the summer months, therefore you will need to be flexible. Applications received after 12/12/2010 cannot be processed. WIN | WIN will be able to investigate complaints or queries up to 60 days after the closing date). Once the 60 days have passed, we will not be able to provide any further investigations and the offer is deemed closed.
  23. The flight offer is subject to promotional availability. Availability can be affected by a number of reasons beyond the control of WIN | WIN. These include adverse weather conditions, terrorist activities, political incidences, supplier change of ownership, supplier insolvency and airline operational difficulties.
  24. The voucher holder will be contacted with an offer of an outbound and return flight which matches the requests on the application form. Once a flight offer has been made, you must confirm acceptance within 24hrs. Flights cannot be held on your behalf.
  25. Please be aware that the airline companies may be running their own unrelated reduced flight offers at the time you are applying with your voucher. It is always worth checking to see whether any of these offers are available before you use your flight voucher and whether you could make better savings.
  26. WIN | WIN cannot be held responsible for the exchange rate used by your credit card issuer.
  27. Cancellations and No Shows: Any confirmed booking which is either cancelled or the passenger does not show up for the flight is subject to an administration charge. This charge will be €25 where the passenger cancels within 48 hours of scheduled departure, and €50 for passengers who fail to show up for their flight.
  28. Flight bookings do not include luggage check-in costs which may be incurred levied by certain airlines. Customers wishing to check-in luggage must do so at the airport.
  29. DHL Express (Limited) Ireland does not accept any responsibility for goods and services supplied by third parties.
